How Rentora works
For renters
- Search for items by keyword, category and location. You can limit the search to available days.
- Choose the days in the calendar and send a booking request. Instant booking items are confirmed immediately.
- When the owner accepts, you pay for the booking by card within 24 hours. The booking is confirmed immediately after payment.
- Pickup instructions are shown in a confirmed booking. Agree on the details via messages.
- Return as agreed and leave a review.
For owners
- Listing is free. Add photos, a daily price (and a weekly price if you like), a deposit and rental periods.
- Connect your bank account to Stripe under Payments and rental payments will be paid out to you automatically.
- Accept or decline requests within 48 hours. You can block days when the item isn't available for rent.
- You get the full rent you list. The renter pays a 17% service fee on top.
Cancellations
Either party can cancel the booking before the rental ends. A paid booking is automatically refunded to the renter. Repeated cancellations may lead to the account being closed.
Avainlippu – Finnish service
Rentora is run by VMH Group Oy, which has been awarded the Avainlippu (Key Flag) symbol as a mark of Finnish work and domestic service. The service and customer support are Finnish.
Safety
Always pay through Rentora – never directly to a bank account or in cash before pickup. Check the item's condition at pickup and take photos of any defects. The deposit is agreed between the parties.
